The Higher Standard EDS Support Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of services. They supervise a team of tutors, ensuring that they provide high-quality academic assistance to students. Additionally, they manage the center's administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing budgets, and communicating with clients.
* Recruit, train, and supervise a team of tutors, ensuring that they provide excellent academic support to students
* Develop and implement policies and procedures for the service providers, ensuring that they align with the needs of students and the goals of the organization.
* Manage the center's schedule, ensuring that tutoring sessions are scheduled efficiently and effectively.
* Communicate regularly with clients, ensuring that they are satisfied with the center's services and addressing any concerns they may have.
Manage the center's budget, ensuring that expenses are kept within budgetary constraints and that revenue goals are met.
* Bachelor's degree in education or related field (or equivalent experience)
* Demonstrated experience managing a team of employees
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong organizational and time-management skills
* Experience with budget management and financial analysis
* Familiarity with online teaching tools and technologies
Support Coordinators typically work remotely, although they may spend time in various service environment as well. They may work during the day, evenings, or weekends, depending on the service schedule. They may be on call in the event of an emergency. They may also be required to travel to schools and other educational institutions to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
* Develop lesson plans and teaching materials that are tailored to the specific needs of individual students or groups of students.
*Assess student's strengths and weaknesses to create a personalized learning plan.
*Provide individualized instruction to students, either in person or online.
* Assist with homework and other assignments, and provide feedback to students on their progress.
* Help students to prepare for exams, including providing practice questions and tests.
* Bachelor's degree in education or related field (or equivalent experience)
* Demonstrated expertise in the subject(s) being tutored
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Patience and empathy when working with students

Certified Intervention Specialist may work in a variety of settings, including schools, libraries, community centers, or private homes. They may work during the day, evenings, or weekends, depending on the needs of the students being tutored. Tutors may work part-time or full-time, and their schedules may vary depending on the demands of their clients.
